'Jersey Shore' Stars Rocket Over the Water
In fact, we did a little sleuthing about these awesome contraptions because we were curious about how, exactly, the reality stars pulled this one off. It would appear that the water rockets are JetLev R200s. They hit the market this spring (the prototype came out in 2008, however) and if you want to own said flying machine, it will set you back $99,500.

This price includes things like the jetpack (which has a top speed of 25mph and a flight ceiling of 30 feet), two helmet radios, a boat unit and hose, an operator's manual (whew!), and a course for pilot training and safety. We imagine even Deena Nicole Cortese had to sit down and be serious for a second before blasting off.

And, she seemed seriously scared and excited when that time came. Judging by the photos of her experience, there's going to be a lot of screaming and bleeping when the segment airs on TV. Even the guys seemed focused and serious while launching up in the air!

When the flying was finished, all of the stars reconvened on the boat for tanning and more fun. Even pregnant Snooki had a spot on the boat, but no flying for her.

Now that the Jersey Shore crew has checked "bar brawl" off of their season six to-do list, Pauly D, the Situation, and the gang seem to be having more fun than fights. For example, they literally reached new heights out in the ocean over the weekend.

The cast took off on a pontoon boat Saturday and took turns blasting into the air with the aid of water-powered jetpacks! Yes, such a thing really exists and was deemed safe for guidos and guidettes of all shapes and muscle sizes.
