Lets have a look at Michelle Obama Style at the 2012 London Olympics
Michelle Obama at the Olympics
First Lady Michelle Obama brought some serious gold-medal-worthy style to the London 2012 Olympics. From her always-elegant dresses to patriotic displays of red, white, and blue, check out the FLOTUS's winning looks from the Games.
Michelle Obama in J. Mendel
The First Lady looked like royalty at a Buckingham Palace reception for the Heads of State and Government. She wore a J. Mendel Resort 2013 cap-sleeve jacket with intricate silver embroidery (which reportedly cost $6,800) over a pleated white skirt.
Now here's a powerful combination of fashion if we ever saw one. Michelle Obama in J.Mendel and Kate Middleton, Dutchess of Cambridge, in Christopher Kane. Both were simply stunning at the reception, but which of the two deserved the gold?
Well, it's official—Michelle's emsemble is fit for a queen or for, uh, meeting the Queen of England, at least.
Michelle Obama in BCBG Max Azria
Not only did the First Lady put her American pride on display while cheering on the US Swimming Team, she also sported her timeless fashion sense in a chic colorblock top by BCBG Max Azria paired with sleek black pants.
Okay, how adorable is the peek-a-boo cutout on Michelle's right shoulder? We love that the 48-year-old First Lady isn't afraid show her youthful spirit.
Bold hoop earrings and a silver cuff polished off Michelle's charming look.
Michelle Obama in Cozy-Chic Gray
Michelle Obama opted for a head-to-toe neutral ensemble with a sporty, slicked-back ponytail to support the US Men's Basketball Team in its match against France.
It's a good thing the First Lady kept it casual for the men's basketball game. Following Team USA's victory, player after player (ugh, imagine the sweat) crowded in for a big embrace—even Kobe Bryant showed Mrs. O some love!
Simple yet sophisticated jewelry added understated glamour to the FLOTUS's gray-on-gray sweater-and-tee combination.
Michelle Obama in Patriotic Colors
Michelle Obama paired a retro-print flag-inspired blazer with a bright red peplum top and fitted black pants to greet Team USA before the Olympic opening ceremony.
The First Lady shed her patriotic blazer to show off her fit-and-flare peplum hiding beneath the layer. Between the square-neck top and her sunny smile, she sure was, well, peppy while greeting the US Women's Basketball Team.
The First Lady strikes a pose with the US Women's Basketball Team in her ruffled peplum top.
Michelle Obama in Athleticwear
Joined by an incredibly dapper David Beckham—um, jealous!—at the Let's Move London event before the opening ceremony, Michelle embodied the Olympic spirit in a sporty shirt, cropped white pants, and metallic sneakers.
Whoa, with kicks like that—we mean her actual kick, but those silver sneaks are pretty snazzy, too—we think the First Lady should have tried out for the US Soccer Team. Right?
Michelle Obama in Neon Yellow
Once the leading lady finally took her seat at the opening ceremony, she threw on this electric yellow blazer, ensuring all eyes stayed on her as the action unfolded in the stadium.
Do You Know 10 of the Most Memorable Songs of the Olympic Games
2012: "Spinnin' for 2012" Dionne Bromfield and Tinchy Stryder
Muse's hyper-anthemic "Survival" may be the most talked-about Official Olympic song this year, but it's not the best. Sure, the music video is crammed full of Mini Cooper product placement, but singer Dionne Bromfield deserves some props for sounding like she's actually having fun on this Torch relay song.
2008: Liu Huan and Sarah Brightman's "You and Me"
At the opening ceremonies at 2008's Beijing Olympic Games, musical theater queen Sarah Brightman and all her magical hair extensions joined Chinese Mandopop atop a glowing globe for a song about global unity. Fun fact: There is an entire section of Liu Huan's Wikipedia page dedicated to his hair.
2004: "Oceania" by Björk
Let's be real: There were probably a lot of people who didn't know quite what to make of Björk's epic "Oceania," which she performed at the 2004 Summer Olympics Ceremony just after the Parade of Nations. But the all-vocals tune — its rhythm provided by beat-boxer Schlomo — is definitely the most original Olympics anthem ever. The lyrics don't even include the words "reach," "win," or "togetherness."
2000: "The Flame" Tina Arena
Tina Arena is pretty much the Australian Celine Dion, only with fewer chest-thumps. The former child star rang in the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia with her song "The Flame," which was about the Olympic flame and greatness and stuff.
1996: "Reach" by Gloria Estefan and Diane Warren
Gloria Estefan co-wrote her 1996 hit with adult contemporary staple Diane Warren, who has mastered the art of producing Music Moms Love. It even features the spirit-lifting backing vocals of a full choir and one of those life-affirming key changes that can be found in any Warren song worth its weight.
1992: Freddie Mercury and Monserat Caballé's "Barcelona"
When opera star Montserrat Caballé approached Freddie Mercury about producing a song for the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, he jumped on the idea and took it a step further, suggesting they collaborate on an entire album for the occasion. The resulting Barcelona had one of Mercury's greatest solo hits in its title track, but sadly, he was never able to perform any of the songs at the games — he passed away from AIDS in 1991.
1988: Whitney Houston's "One Moment in Time"
Songwriter Albert Hammond envisioned Elvis Presley singing "One Moment in Time" when he co-wrote it with John Bettis for the 1988 Olympics, but it's hard to imagine anyone but Whitney Houston pulling off triumphant, soaring vocals. The song was wildly successful, peaking at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 nine weeks after its release.
1988: Koreana's "Hand in Hand"
This Giorgio Moroder-produced track is pretty much exactly what one expects from an official Olympics theme song: Cheesy, with plenty of motivational platitudes. But it's worth watching the video, if only for the amazing late '80s haircuts and sunglasses.
1984: Herbie Hancock's "Junku"
There were a number of special themes created for the 1984 Olympic Games in Sarajevo, but the most fun (and, admittedly, most dated) among them was the Field Theme, a.k.a. Herbie Hancock's "Junku," which featured traditional African instruments like the kalimba over a steady synth beat. Okay, yes: It sounds just like "Rockit," but... earthier.
1980: Tônis Mägi's "Olimpiada"
The United States boycotted the 1980 Summer Olympics over the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, which means a whole bunch of people missed out on the magic of Tônis Mägi's spirited theme song "Olimpiada." Though the kitschy song was released at the tail end of the disco era, it was still one of the Estonian singer's most popular works. Hopefully the backup dancers were able to make it to the opening ceremonies.
To craft a glorious Olympic anthem is no easy feat: A successful song requires mass appeal on a global scale, and a melody that's appreciated everywhere from Moscow to Minnesota.
This year, UK rockers Muse were met with a fair amount of snark over their effort "Survival," a sweeping, epic production that sounds a little too like self-parody to achieve the desired dramatic effect. With lyrics like "I'll light the fuse / and I'll never lose," the song skips straight into competitive cliché — but so has practically every official Olympic song, with a few notable exceptions.
Few of these songs are actually great (some are borderline awful, really), but they did manage to capture the spirit of their respective times. How does "Survival" stack up in light of these gems?

Attention: Famous Hacker Victims (Party One)
Famous Hacker Victims
Whether it's photos, sensitive data or just contact information, some of our favorite celebrities have had their phones and online accounts broken into by hackers.
1. Carly Rae Jepsen
Carly Rae Jepsen was not pleased when a grainy cell phone sex video made the Internet rounds with her name on it in July 2012. Though the "Call Me Maybe" singer tweeted, "Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me. Ridiculous. Obviously not me," TMZ reported that the singer had actually been hacked — but that the dicey photos in question hadn't yet seen the light of day.
2. Christina Hendricks
Christina Hendricks copped to the sexy lingerie photos that made their way online after her phone was hacked, but she challenged the legitimacy of the topless photo that surfaced on the web, saying it was a fake. It helps that the head was cropped out of the one nude pic. It's called plausible deniability, people.
3. Nicole Scherzinger
Nicole Scherzinger for Ron Paul in 2012? That's what her twitter account would have you believe after it was hacked by Paul supporters. The hackers published a tweet saying, "For the first time ever a politician isn't lying to us. WAKE UP AMERICA! Ron Paul 2012 I Love this Guy #RonPaulRevolution." However, once Nicole was alerted to the social media break-in, the pro-Paul message was quickly removed.
4. No Doubt
Fans have anxiously been awaiting the reunion album from No Doubt by closely monitoring the band's Twitter account, but they were in for a bit of a shock when a "Ron Paul for President" message was posted under No Doubt's name. Gwen Stefani and company got hacked by the same Paul supporters who broke into Nicole Scherzinger's account to post similar pro-Paul tweets. No Doubt later clarified that they weren't endorsing any candidate at this point.
5. Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa Hudgens was the victim of one of the most infamous celebrity hacks. In 2007 a hacker was able to acquire a series of nude photos of the star. On three occasions the hacker has released different photos from the same original batch, prolonging Hudgens' original embarassment. The FBI suspects that whoever broke into her private accounts is part of a hacker ring that has targeted several celebrities.
6. Scarlett Johansson
Scarlett Johansson was likely targeted by the same group that hacked into Vanessa Hudgens' private accounts. Shortly after nude pictures of the actress leaked online, she told CNN: "Just because you're an actor or make films or whatever doesn't mean you're not entitled to your own personal privacy ... if that is sieged in some way, it feels unjust. It feels wrong."
7. Kreayshawn
Up-and-coming rapper Kreayshawn was targeted by a group of hackers who call themselves HollywoodLeaks and operate a Twitter account where they brazenly brag about breaking into celebrities' accounts. What's worse, Kreayshawn has claimed that the leaked pictures of her were taken when she was 17.
8. Paris Hilton
Back in 2005, before the advent of the iPhone, Paris Hilton's beloved Sidekick was hacked and all her contacts were made public. A 17-year-old hacker eventually pleaded guilty to the crime and was sentenced to 11 months in a juvenile detention facility.
9. Mila Kunis
When one of Mila Kunis' old e-mail accounts was hacked, it sparked a new round of rumors that she was seeing her Friends with Benefits co-star Justin Timberlake. That's because the leaked pictures included two pictures of Timberlake, including one where he's jokingly wearing a pair of pink panties over his head. The two have since denied any involvement.

The Hacked
It seems like every month a new celebrity finds their pictures or contact information posted online for all to see. Here are a few famous victims of hacker attacks.
10. Julianne Hough
Julianne Hough was another victim of HollywoodLeaks, but this time nothing explicit was found. Instead a few bikini shots from her e-mail made their way online. It turns out ex-Mormons aren't big on nudie photos.
11. Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus has suffered at least two hacker attacks. At one point pictures from her e-mail account made their way online, and another time hackers posted images they found in her private MySpace account. While none of the pictures were explicit, they were controversial because of her age (15 at the time) and their risque nature.
12. Blake Lively
While Blake Lively has denied that it's her in a few nude pictures that leaked online, it's mostly thought that the images (which show her face and the fake tattoos she wore in The Town), are of her.
13. Lindsay Lohan
In 2007 someone got into Lindsay Lohan's Blackberry and her MySpace account. The photos leaked were nothing interesting, but the hacker also found and posted a series of embarassing e-mail messages between LiLo and Paris Hilton that fueled speculation that the two were feuding.
14. Kim Kardashian
When hackers got into Kim Kardashian's Twitter account, they didn't get any photos or info, they just posted a few bogus messages on her account.
15. Gwyneth Paltrow
Gwyneth Paltrow is one of the celebrities whose voice mail was hacked by British journalists during the News International phone hacking scandal.
16. Selena Gomez
After Selena Gomez started seeing Justin Bieber her Facebook account was hacked, and a malicious third party started posting mean things about her new boyfriend.
17. Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba is thought to be another famous victim of the same hacker ring that targeted Scarlett Johansson and Vanessa Hudgens.

Do You Know 'Fifty Shades' of Emma Watson?
Since wrapping up the Harry Potter series, Watson has branched out with more adult roles in films like My Week With Marilyn and The Bling Ring, which had the young actress strutting her stuff in a pair of short shorts and a bra. Still, Fifty Shades of Grey, which is about a young graduate student who gets swept into a world of sado-masochistic sex with a sexy billionaire, would be a marked departure for the squeaky clean starlet.
But wait, don't get your hopes up just yet. Fifty Shades producer Brunetti took to Twitter yesterday and threw some cold water on the latest casting "news": "All of the rumors on #FiftyShades are just that - rumors. No one has been cast in any role. We have to get a writer and director first."
It looks like for now the rumors are just that — rumors. But would you like to see Emma Watson take on Fifty Shades of Grey? Or would you rather have another actress play Anastasia? Cast your vote below!
Well, this is one way to shed your child star status.
Harry Potter actress Emma Watson is reportedly the frontrunner to play the lead role in the film adaptation of the erotic bestseller, 50 Shades of Grey. According to ShowbizSpy.com, the 22-year-old was chosen to play Anastasia Steel by producers Mike De Luca and Dana Brunetti.

Something About Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart(Party Three)
15. Hands On
Late 2011 saw Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart really embrace each other, literally. The two showed no signs of trying to hide their affection for each other as Rob courted his lady down the red carpet, holding her tight to his side.
16. Foot in Mouth?
Following the Breaking Dawn premiere, Kristen began filming Snow White and the Huntsman, helmed by director Rupert Sanders (left). When asked if there's anything she would do if the cameras weren't around, Kristen told E!, "I do whatever I want. You can't be ashamed of what you're doing if you're doing it honestly."
17. Still Going Strong
After Kristen signed on for the sequel to Snow White, she and Rob spent July 2012 together at Comic-Con and the Teen Choice Awards.
18. Scandal Breaks
Just days after accepting their Teen Choice surfboards together, news broke that Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson with Snow White director Rupert Sanders, who is also married.
19. "I'm Sorry"
Shortly after the Internet exploded with the cheating scandal, Kristen Stewart issued a statement apologizing for her transgressions: "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry,"
20. Now What?
Can the relationship that captivated the world survive infidelity? How will Rob respond to Kristen's apology? How awkward is the promotional run for Breaking Dawn II going to be? Only time will tell if we've seen the last of Robsten.

Something About Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart(Party Two)
The Story of Robsten
Since Twilight premiered in 2008, fans of the franchise have been obsessed with the offscreen love connection between stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Now, amid a cheating scandal involving Kristen and the director of Snow White and the Huntsmen, the Robsten romance faces it's most difficult challenge ever. Is their history enough to keep the relationship afloat?
8. Playing It Cool
Rob and Kristen continued to play coy about their relationship, but their constant travel together left little room for ambiguity, even though they kept a healthy distance from each other when paparazzi cameras were present.
9. Faces in the Crowd
As evasive as they were with the press, when Rob and Kristen were spotted snuggling at a Kings of Leon concert while shooting Twilight Eclipse in 2009, no one bought the "just friends" thing.
10. Happy New Year, Happy New Couple
Next to Valentine's Day, New Year's Eve is the one day people most definitely want to spend with their significant others, which was why fans of the newly formed "Robsten" were thrilled when the couple rang in 2010 during a getaway to the Isle of Wight.
11. Again with the MTV Awards
Naturally, Rob and Kristen repeated their win for Best Kiss at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards and went through the whole kiss-not-kiss charade yet again. But this time, as the pair exited the stage, Patz snuck a spontaneous peck on KStew, and it looked like the real deal.
12. Secondhand Confirmation
During filming of Eclipse, producer Wyck Godfrey told Time that his two stars were dating: "The thing that I think about is, 'Oh my God, I hope they stay together.' Because it could be awkward on set in the next movie if they have a huge falling out. It's like, wow, they have to portray this love story through two more movies. God, I hope they stay together; please stay together."
13. Love and Support
It's one thing for Rob and Kristen to hang out at Twilight-related events, but by late 2010, the pair was bouncing back and forth between their other projects. Kristen visited Rob on the sets of Water for Elephants and Remember Me, and Rob spent time on set while Kristen filmed On the Road. They weren't fooling anybody.
14. Getting Comfortable
In 2011, both Rob and Kristen started to open up, however indirectly, about their relationship. Kristen told UK version of GQ, "My boyfriend is English. Come on, guys, it's so obvious." And Rob thanked Today show host Ann Curry after she congratulated him on having such a beautiful girlfriend.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Relationship Timeline
With Rob and Kristen's romance on the brink of collapse, take a look back at the most memorable moments of their relationship.
1. Young Love
Both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were relatively unknown actors before they landed the lead roles in Twilight. Rob had a minor role in Harry Potter, while Kristen had small parts in flicks like Panic Room and The Messengers, but that all changed thanks to a vampire love story. In September 2008 these two started posing together, and it didn't take long for romance rumors to soar!
2. The 'Twilight' Connection
It may not have been "love" at first sight, but Kristen Stewart definitely knew there was something special when she had a Twilight screen test with Robert Pattinson. "I basically cast him," Kristen once told Vanity Fair. "We did one day of auditions and a bunch of guys came in. Catherine Hardwicke, the director, afterwards was like, 'What do you think? This is such a hard choice.' I was like, 'Are you kidding me?! It's such an obvious choice!' It couldn't have been better. It was sort of perfect."

The early Rob and Kristen dating rumors were partly fueled by the media, but were mostly fueled by the fact that these two work side-by-side, constantly pose together at red carpet events, and because they're just SO cute together! A few of these things are unavoidable, but an offscreen chemistry was clearly developing.
4. The Man in the Middle
By the time New Moon started shooting, rumors of a real-life romance between Rob and Kristen were in full swing, but there was one major roadblock to the supposed love connection — Kristen was dating Michael Angarano. While promoting the film, Kristen maintained that she and Rob were just friends.
5. Best (Near) Kiss Tease
During a break in filming New Moon, Rob and Kristen flew to New York to rack up a slew of MTV Movie Awards, including Best Kiss. The pair toyed with the audience as they accepted the award with a series of almost-kisses. The two stars were inseparable and flirty the rest of the night, adding fuel to the rumor-mill fire.
6. Opportunity Knocks
When news hit that Michael Angarano and Kristen Stewart split, the media had a field day with the idea that the breakup was motivated by her desire to be with Rob.
7. We're 'Together'
The second Twilight installment, New Moon, made its debut in 2009. That meant more photocalls and chances to speculate about the real life romance between Robert and Kristen. He hinted at the answer at a 2009 event, saying: "We are here together and it's a public event but it's not easy. We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention." Of course, plenty of folks decided the "together" part meant "together, together." You know, like he "like likes" her.
Rupert Sanders Issues Apology to Family for Cheating with Kristen Stewart
Sanders, 41, is married to British Vogue model Liberty Ross, with whom he has two children, ages 7 and 5. Ross played Kristen Stewart's mother in SWATH and reportedly posted a picture of a drunk Snow White with the words "Not so pretty and pure after all..." to her Instagram account. Us Weekly broke the news of the infidelity between Stewart and Sanders, posting pictures of the pair locked in an embrace.
Kristen Stewart, 22, and Robert Pattinson, 26, met while filming Twilight together in 2008. For years they remained incredibly private about their off-screen relationship, but in recent months the pair have been much more open with their affection. In October Kristen told British GQ, "My boyfriend is English" and in May the couple was spotted smooching in Cannes. There was no sign of trouble at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night when Rob and Kristen accepted the "Ultimate Choice" award.
In her own statement about the cheating incident, Stewart said, "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
In the wake of Kristen Stewart's bombshell public apology, Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders has issued his own statement about the cheating scandal that broke late Tuesday night.
"I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family," Sanders tells People in a statement. "My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."
