Do You Know Jennifer Lopez Set to Leave 'American Idol'

TMZ reports the pop star called Ryan Seacrest this morning to yell "Seacrest, out!" and hang up the phone. No, we're kidding. In reality, she said "I honestly feel like the time has come that I have to get back to doing the other things that I do."

For better or worse, Idol will have a completely different look next year. There's no word yet — officially, anyway —  on who will replace Tyler and Lopez. But if our readers get their wish, Adam Lambert will sit at the judges table next season. For now, we'll have to wait and see what the show's producers decide to do.

First Steven Tyler jumped ship. Then, before we had time to fully admire his references to boiling rabbits and mistresses, Jennifer Lopez went and announced she too was leaving American Idol.
