1. Kristen Stewart Climbs a Mountain and Chows Down on a Mountain Lion
The biggest surprise of the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 panel came early when a recorded message from director Bill Condon told the audience they'd be treated to the first seven minutes of the film. Those first minutes open right where Part 1 left off — a red-eyed Bella now transformed into a vampire. First thing on Bella's agenda? The hunt. Cut to speeding through the forest, scaling a mountain barefoot, and tackling a pouncing mountain lion for her first bloodlust meal.
2. Rob Draws a Big Laugh
One of the best questions of the day came from a middle-aged woman in the audience who asked Robert Pattinson what advice his character in Breaking Dawn would give his character in the first Twilight. Without hesitation, Rob replied, "Keep it in your pants." While the audience erupted in laughter, Rob sheepishly whispered, "Why do I always forget I'm talking in front of people."
3. Kristen Stewart Calls Out Cell Phone Guy
People still don't quite know proper audience etiquette. In the middle of the panel, one gentleman decided to take a call, but KStew wasn't having it. She paused in the middle of an answer to call out the rude behavior. With a WTF-are-you-doing look, she shouted, "Hey, come on man!"

4. The Cast Tears Up (Kind Of)
The fact that this was the cast's final Comic-Con panel really drove home a sense of finality to their five year project. Nikki Reed held back tears for real, while Kristen Stewart fooled the audience as she turned away from the mic, wiped her eyes, and said in a whimper, "Oh god, I'm going to cry." The would-be sentimental moment was cut short when she quickly snapped out of it with a "Kidding, no I'm not."
5. Mackenzie's Aww Moment
The cuteness factor went through the roof when Mackenzie Foy talked about her favorite memory from filming. "Riding a Jacob wolf," she recollected. "I lost a tooth. Now, I have big girl teeth. Thanks, Taylor."
6. RPatz and KStew Reveal Their Secret Comic-Con Costumes
Ever wonder what Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart would dress up as if they went to Comic-Con for pleasure instead of business? They gave their answers this year: Rob chose General Zod from the Superman comics, and Kristen stepped into her Snow White co-star and friend Charlize Theron's territory when she playfully picked the Evil Queen.
7. Stephenie Meyer Tries to Get Robert Pattinson to Write an Edward Cullen Book
One audience member asked author Stephenie Meyer if she had any plans to finish the rumored project of a follow-up novel told exclusively through the perspective of Edward Cullen. While Meyer said she was in need of a break from the vampire business, she did try and convince Robert Pattinson to take the lead on the project, a suggestion the audience was very much in favor of.
8. Kellan Lutz Makes Things Awkward
When asked what his favorite moment was in filming the Twlight Saga, Kellan Lutz jokingly wrapped his arm around Nikki Reed and said, "Kissing my wife." To which Nikki shrugged him off and made sure to mention her husband was there in the audience. Lutz recovered with, "Love you, Paul," as he quickly pulled his arm away from Reed like a man who had just been caught doing something he shouldn't have been doing.
9. Taylor Lautner Covers Nikki Reed in Food
As the cast reminisced about scenes that didn't quite make it into the films, Taylor Lautner told the story of when he was asked to throw a bowl of food at Nikki Reed. According to Reed's recollection, it took tens of takes of her getting covered in food before Taylor threw the bowl in the right place. All Taylor could talk about was how he kept hitting the cameraman in the crotch.
10. Renesmee Makes Her First Appearance
Breaking Dawn: Part 2 is hotly anticipated for many reasons, but one of the biggest is the first appearance of Edward and Bella's daughter, Renesmee. The crowd was thrilled to see little Mackenzie Foy make her Comic-Con debut. While the rest of the cast can't help but be a little jaded from the years of Twilight promotion, the 11-year-old Foy looked like a kid on Christmas morning, just radiating excitement with an ear-to-ear smile.
For the last five years, the Twilight saga has been one of Comic-Con's biggest draws. Fans line up days in advance just to get a seat to watch Taylor, Robert, Kristen, and company talk about what filming was like, their behind-the-scenes antics, and what's in store for the future of the franchise.
This year, however, is bittersweet as Breaking Dawn: Part 2 will close the book on Twilight's cinematic run. To celebrate their final Comic-Con panel, the cast and studio provided plenty of surprises and memorable moments. So if you're a TwiHard who wasn't able to camp out on the streets of San Diego, fear not. We've rounded up the best the Breaking Dawn panel had to offer.
