Rihanna Shows Off Bikini Body, Lets Loose in St. Tropez

Photographers caught up with the star and her pals in the middle of the ocean Saturday. They captured some awesome shots of her sporting a sexy bikini, getting some serious air on a jet ski, sipping Coronas, tanning with her pals, and more. There are even pictures of her visit from basketball star Magic Johnson! There are no hardships on that ship.

Of course, Rihanna has kept connected with her fans (her "Navy") and friends with the handy dandy onboard Wi-Fi connection. She's been tweeting pictures of her vacation as well as posting birthday messages to pals and updates about the paparazzi helping her friend who fell off a jet ski.

However, her at sea updates have also sparked a little scandal. She tweeted this message Friday: "Sorry, no phone service in the middle of the ocean! Just Internet! Call you back when I got signal boo! Miss ya" Of course, this got the Interwebs buzzing with even more speculation of her secret relationship ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. You know, because, "boo" can only refer to him, right?

Well, maybe that's the case. But, she called her pal Hayden Williams her "boo" when she shouted out a birthday message to him on Twitter today. "Happy Birthday to Designer/fashion illustrator my boo," she wrote. So, the "boo" thing definitely doesn't equal "boyfriend."

Regardless, it doesn't look like Rihanna is spending any time worrying about her love life these days, especially not this weekend. Cheers to the freakin' weekend, right, RihRih?

Rihanna is a work hard, play harder kind of gal, it seems. She's been busy most of the year with touring and fending off Chris Brown relationship rumors, but her summer vacation has been filled with plenty of down time. The singer has traveled to NYC, Barbados, Italy, and now on a luxury yacht in the South of France.

Paid Attention to Celebs' Most Ridiculous Backstage Demands(Party Two)

Celebs' Most Ridiculous Backstage Demands
When you're rich and famous, you can not only get away with everything, you can GET everything.

Mary J. Blige
Nobody likes a dirty toilet, but Mary J. Blige isn't taking any chances when she's on tour. Blige requires that each venue install a brand new toilet seat in the dressing room before she arrives. And while Mary's doing her business on the new seat, she expects privacy, which is why she has a "Do Not Disturb" sign punctuated with 26 exclamation points.

Rihanna
Rihanna has quite the checklist for her dressing room furnishings. Her couch has to be "wide enough for her to stretch out on and sometimes take a nap." She needs "6-8 throw pillows for couches – animal print (cheetah, leopard) (NO sequins). And her large throw rug "must be CLEAN, as she will walk on it barefoot."

Van Halen
Van Halen is arguably the group responsible for the public's interest in outlandish backstage riders after they famously demanded a bowl of M&Ms with all the brown ones removed. For years, people assumed this was just another example of rock excess and arrogance, but the band maintains they included the stipulation to see if promoters actually read the rider. If brown M&Ms were in the bowl, then how could they trust the gear or sound levels met their specifications?

Foo Fighters
In homage to the rock gods who preceded them, the Foo Fighters decided to have some fun with their 2008 rider, which is peppered with jokes about "fat roadies," farts, and Johnny Depp's butt. The band continued the hilarious trend in 2011, this time providing an illustration of appropriate meals. (Note: Sandwich with a side of rocks = lame, steak and baked potato = awesome.)

Lady Gaga
For having such an over-the-top image, Lady Gaga keeps her rider requests pretty tame. She does insist on having a whole roasted chicken backstage, and if there's going to be cheese, it's gotta be "non-smelly, non-sweaty, [and] ON ICE."

Adele
Adele balances her demands with philanthropy. According to her rider, any fan or journalist receiving free tickets to her show is required to donate $20 to a charity of her choosing. As for what the British powerhouse wants on her tour bus, only the "very best quality red wine" and "best quality European lager beer." Better not confuse the "European" part. Adele adds "North American beer is NOT acceptable." Come on, Adele, it's not all Budweiser and Coors. This is the land of microbrews!

Sarah Palin
When Sarah Palin is raking in six figures on her public speaking rounds, her travel requirements set the bar pretty high. If Palin isn't booked in first class, then a private jet is the only other option, and not just any old jet either. The "private aircraft MUST BE a Lear 60 or larger.

Pauly D
It's safe to say without Jersey Shore, Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio would not be pulling in tens of thousands of dollars to spin at various nightclubs. Yet Pauly's rider states, "ABSOLUTELY NO use of MTV name/logo and Jersey Shore logo in any and all promotional materials" under the penalty of "immediate cancellation... and forfeiture of deposit."

Cher
Cher's hair needs its own room. According to the singer's rider, there is to be an entire room devoted solely to her wig collection. And you won't see Cher wearing one of those laminated backstage passes around her neck. She simply refuses. Also, the diva has something against Kendall Jackson — it's the only wine she does not allow in her dressing room.

Kristin Stewart heads to Australia, Kim and Kanye cruise Paris, and much more

Kristin Stewart heads to Australia, Kim and Kanye cruise Paris, Sofia Vergara snacks in New York, Rihanna gets sporty, and much more...

Cherry on Top
In the downtime between Modern Family seasons, Sofia Vergara has been enjoying the summer in New York. While her castmates were busy winning Critic's Choice Awards, Vergara walked the streets of SoHo while snacking on market fresh cherries.

Kristen Goes Down Under
The media blitz of Snow White and the Huntsman is far from over for its stars. Kristen Stewart joined Chris Hemsworth in Sydney, Australia, for the Down Under premiere. KStew showed off her smile and some skin in a beaded top and skirt that looked more like art than an outfit.

Rollin' in Style
Don't worry, that's just two of the most famous people in the world riding in one of the most famous cars in the world. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are still enjoying their Parisian getaway, and they're sparing no expense, riding around the streets of France in a fancy white Lamborghini.

Tinkerbell
Don't get us wrong, Carrie Underwood is both beautiful and talented, but she needs a little help with this outfit. The smile and the legs are working but the Peter Pan ensemble needs work.

Feeling Sporty
Rihanna went with a casual look when she arrived in London. The pop star paired a sporty mesh crop-top football jersey with a wild animal print skirt. Old school Converse rounded out an ensemble that may not find its way on best dressed lists, but was comfortable as hell.

Stomach Swag
The spawn of Snooki is coming. No, that's not the tagline for an upcoming horror movie, it's just the fact that the Jersey Shore star is starting to show in the belly region, which means the world will have a guido-in-training before the end of the year.

Easy Rider
Is that George Clooney on the set of the Wild Hogs sequel? No, of course not. George would never lower himself to that material. Clooney's just enjoying his time on vacation in Lake Como by riding the open road on his motorcycle.

Seeing Red
Believe it or not, that's Mad Men star January Jones. Yup, Jones has ditched the platinum blonde locks in favor of a bright red. Only time will tell what this means for Betty Draper.

Drop It Like It's Hot
UK pop star and former X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole was out in London on a press tour for the release of her new album A Million Lights. The British beauty's leather pants might say rock 'n' roll, but Cole's new record is pure pop.

Nerd Alert
Ben Stiller's high school math teacher getup isn't the sign of a major style change for the Hollywood funnyman. It's just his character's look for the upcoming Secret Life of Walter Mitty, in which he plays a timid magazine photo manager who lives life vicariously through daydreams and embarks on an adventure when a negative goes missing.

Yes, Rihanna Shares New Falcon Tattoo, Tweets from Ailing Grandmother's Bedside

As of Monday evening, Rihanna is in London, where she's reportedly working on a new fashion reality television series for the next several weeks. Hopefully she's had enough family time to last her through the summer.

Rihanna's been laying low the past couple of weeks, having postponed a trip to the UK in order to spend more time with her grandmother, Dolly Braithwaite, who is in a New York City hospital battling cancer. But the singer hasn't totally abandoned the spotlight: She's been very active on Twitter, where she posts intimate updates on her life for her nearly 21 million followers.

On Saturday, Rihanna posted a picture of her latest tattoo, an intricate falcon etched on her ankle. The singer shed light on her choice of ink via Instagram caption, writing, "Falcon: a light that shines in the darkness! Never close their eyes during sleep." The following day, the performer posted a series of pictures of herself with her grandmother with heartbreaking lines like, "My heart smiled and cried all at once." She also shared a rather silly photo of her granny sporting a TrukFit cap (courtesy Lil Wayne).

Yes, Rihanna Rips 'Esquire' Interviewer for Barrage of Chris Brown Questions

"Some people felt it sent the wrong message," Davis said. "You'd gone back to someone who put you in the hospital."

"Oh really?!" Rihanna asked. "Did I? Did I? Did I?... Okay. In a completely professional environment, and on a completely professional note. I mean, if I went back to him [romantically], then that's a whole different discussion... I think a lot of people jumped to an assumption that was incorrect and they ended up looking stupid."

Davis keeps poking, and RiRi just isn't having it, telling Davis, "This is turning into a tacky interview. What do you really want to talk about? I'm not here to [talk] about messy shit... It upsets me that you keep asking the same kind of questions about stuff that's trivial. ... Are all your questions like that?"

What do you think? Did the interviewer go to far, or do you want Rihanna to dish out more on Chris Brown?

Typically a naked Rihanna on the cover is all a magazine needs to sell copies, but for the latest issue of Esquire UK, it's what's beyond the cover that has people talking.

Three years after Chris Brown and Rihanna parted ways following his infamous domestic assault, it's safe to say Rihanna is tired of discussing their relationship and tumultuous breakup. Esquire's Johnny Davis probably knows this, but that didn't stop his relentless prying.

Rihanna kept her cool when Davis first brought up the "Birthday Cake" and "Turn Up the Music" remixes she did with Brown earlier this year, and the onslaught of bad press and controversy that followed. "The whole thing caught me a little off-guard to be honest, especially the amount of negative attention," she said. "Because it never occurred to me how this was going to be a problem... I didn't see how people could think it was a bad thing. In my mind it was just music."

However, Rihanna's not one to suffer fools, and she snapped when Davis moved from the professional to the personal.

Rihanna donned a sexy white gown and walked her first red carpet as an actress

"Pete Berg, he's the sole reason why I took it on," Kitsch said. "We go back to the "Friday Night Lights" days together," the television show that Berg produced and that launched Kitsch's career. The actor admitted that for a moment, neither one of them was sure they should test their relationship with such a massive cinematic project.

"We have an incredible friendship," Kitsch explained. "So that was a huge thing, are we willing to sacrifice that, or put that up and go to work? But we're both very demanding of ourselves, and on set we're demanding of each other. And that made it better because the trust is there."

Connie Britton, another friend from the "Friday Night Lights" years, joined the guys for the premiere and after party, which included Malin Akerman, Apollo Ohno, Crystal Allen, Kristin Bauer van Straten and Molly Sims.

It was an exciting moment for Rihanna on Thursday, May 10, as she donned a sexy white gown and walked her first red carpet as an actress. Never one to do things small, the Barbadian native is about to take Hollywood by storm, leading the charge in "Battleship," the new blockbuster action flick based on the classic Hasbro board game of the same name.

Budgeted at $200 million, the movie is Hasbro's latest attempt to turn their popular games and toys into movie franchises; in fact, the great success of "Transformers" and "G.I. Joe" led directly to the making of "Battleship."

The film tells the tale of an international flotilla of military ships at sea together for naval war exercises that suddenly encounter an alien fleet, one that attacks without warning. Rihanna plays an American naval petty officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones, in the film directed by Peter Berg.

He marshaled his acting troops into downtown Los Angeles for the massive premiere and after party at the Nokia Theatre, where screaming fans packed bleachers and hoped for a moment with Rihanna or her co-stars. Those included Liam Neeson, Brooklyn Decker, Hamish Linklater, Tadanobu Asano, Alexander Skarsgard and Taylor Kitsch, who commented earlier about accepting the leading-man role in the film.

Magic, Models, And More Eveningwear At Stella McCartney's London Presentation

“Something big” it was, indeed. And thrilling and surprising. Even Simon Le Bon had no idea what his wife was about to do. It was all a remarkable testament to timing, pluck—and the remarkably pliable properties of Stella’s eveningwear.
Suddenly, there was an almighty shriek from a nearby table, where it seemed like a scrap had broken out between a guest and a waiter. Then Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song” came walloping over the sound system, and all hell broke loose. Models, waiters, and Shailene Woodley flew hither and yon in a breathtakingly tight dance routine choreographed (in 24 hours, apparently) by Blanca Li, a fierce-looking but funny Spanish woman who was sitting at my table quietly chatting with Pedro Almodóvar’s costume designer Paco Delgado one minute and whirling through space like a dervish the next. But in amidst the physical frenzy, there was the elegantly precarious image of Shalom, Amber, and Yasmin parading around the room on catwalks improvised from chairs placed under each foot as they took a step.

After guests chomped through a veg feast of five small but perfectly formed courses, Dutch illusionist Hans Klok, World’s Fastest Magician, took to the stage. He laid a hypnotized Alexa Chung across three huge scimitars and left her essentially floating in mid-air, balanced on the sword on which her head rested. Trance state or not, she claimed she could still feel the point of the blade an hour later. Childlike glee is always my default position with magic tricks, but surely this was not the “something big.”

The crowd—including Rihanna, Kate Moss and Jamie Hince, Mario Testino, Juergen Teller, the Le Bons, the Driver sisters, Stella Tennant, Bianca Jagger, and belle of the ball, Shailene Woodley—was well seeded with models in Stella dresses. Not, they insisted, the clothes we had come to see. “We’re just guests,” said Kinga Rajzak, dazzling in a black sheath with a white contoured effect. She was one of the new guard of girls on hand. Shalom Harlow, Amber Valletta, Yasmin Le Bon, and Anouck Lepère were also wearing Stella gowns, ranging from variants on the contouring to marble-printed bubble dresses to confections spun from vibrant orange or electric blue lace. Lucie de la Falaise brought daughter Ella on her first big fashion night out. Appropriate, then, that they’d be staying over at godmother Moss’ London pad.

“I wanted to show English humor and irreverence,” said Stella McCartney, so demure that butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth, even though, minutes before, she’d proved that unleashing mass hysteria in an audience is a talent that clearly runs in the family. To launch her exclusive London Evening collection for Fall 2012 (slideshow here), McCartney threw a black-tie bash at One Mayfair, a soaring neoclassical space that used to be the church where Led Zeppelin played its first London gig in 1968. At the beginning of the evening, when show producer Sam Gainsbury cryptically promised “something big,” there was a millisecond or so when I imagined a Led Zep reformation. One could but dream. Father Paul in a reprise of his Grammy performance? That, at least, would be easier to swing.
